Lifelong learning opens the Faculty to people looking for a specific topic, course, lecture or space for further personal, professional or spiritual growth rather than a complete degree programme.

University of the Third Age
A stable part of Faculty life, the University of the Third Age offers lectures, shared reflection and personal growth for older adults, members of religious communities, lay people and anyone interested in theology, spirituality, culture, history, the human person and society.
Professional modules and short courses
Flexible formats support people working with individuals, communities and institutions. Topics may include community leadership, synodality, safeguarding, family pastoral care, religious life, communication, dialogue, theology of creation, biblical languages and other areas connecting scholarship with practice.
The offer is relevant to pastoral workers, teachers, formators, helping professionals, community leaders, schools, non-profit organisations and work teams. Some formats may develop towards micro-credentials when the relevant legal, university and quality requirements are fulfilled.
Public lectures and cultural events
Open events bring academic theology into conversation with society, culture, faith, values, dialogue, artificial intelligence, environmental responsibility and the common good. Lectures, discussions, workshops, concerts and theatre offer an accessible way to encounter a topic without enrolling in a course.
