Department of Humanities

The Department of Humanities develops the philosophical, ethical, anthropological and cultural foundations of theological education. It fosters critical thinking, sound argument and an informed understanding of the human person, knowledge, culture, science and religion.

  • history of philosophy, logic, metaphysics and epistemology;

The humanities within the Faculty

The Department provides a shared intellectual foundation for theology, counseling and mediation. Its work helps students relate professional knowledge to human dignity, responsibility, culture and contemporary social questions.
